L’appel des odeurs - Maison de la Poésie (2024)

On the occasion of the reading of "L'appel des odeurs" by Ryoko Sekiguchi at the Maison de la Poésie, Alexandre Helwani and the author imagined an immersive experience based on one of the book chapters.
Each participant was given a fragrance inspired by male archetypes imagined together by Ryoko and Alexandre, who was in charge of curating a selection of 180 perfumes, some already on the market, some created by him, others created by master perfumers.
Each perfume sample was encased in a handmade pouch designed by Parisian designer Lucas Huillet and nodding at the scented letters spoken of in the Tale of Genji.
